winter vomiting virus (norovirus)?
How is it spread? Is it airborn can you catch it by being in the same room as someone or can it only be spread through the mouth?
From what i gather you get it on your hands from contact with a surface that has the norovirus or eating food or drinking drink that is contaminated with it.
If this is true and you wash your hands lot and use hand sanitizer and do not eat with your hands and if you eat clean food that you brought and prepaired at home that is wrapped.
Would that slim your chances of cathing the norovirus?
I go to college in a town that has the norovirus the hospitals have been closed due to it and i am concerned about getting it thats why i want to take precautions to lessen my chances of cathing it.
It is very infectious it is air born and can be caught from touching something someone else with it has touched. I have been carrying round a little alcholic hand scrub so can use it after hand washing or when you cant get to wash your hands at anytime.
I work in a school and so far have managed to keep clear form it but if you do catch it then you need to keep away from work/school/college/uni for 2 days after it has cleared.
