body shaper exercise?

iv recently brought a body shaper ( Not a machine or garment its like hard strings that you pull and that).. i was just wondering does it help you make muscle or just tone it or slim you?? i don’t need to get slim and when i use it and pull in various ways it is hard like weight lifting and think it is helping me grow some muscle but not sure please helppppppppppppp…. any good sources will be nice

If you perform any given exercise on your equipment to failure, that is, until you cannot do one more repetition, than you will certainly build muscle. If the device allows you to perform an almost limitless amount of repetitions than you will gain endurance and tend to lose size.
