Need an exercise routine? D:?
hey there everyone!
well im 13, im 5ft and i weigh 141lbs (10st 4lb)
i know FAT FAT FAT.
Well i joined slimming world, i get in for free because im a child and my mum goes.
my weigh in is tomorrow, last week i lost 3lbs.
Its a great diet i can eat as much as i want and i have a curly wurly everyday and still lose weight! the problem is i want to start doing exercise everyday to tone up my body.
preferably my belly and thighs.
i already do exercise but i don’t know if its enough.
I walk to school and back everyday, (about 20 Min each way)
i do 2 hours of hard gymnastics on a saturday.
i do 1 hour cheer leading on a friday.
and i do scouts on a thursday, but we do games and stuff :L
I was just wondering are there any exercises i can to to tone bits of my body?
oh and does lifting weights make you gain weight or lose it?

Muscle weighs more than fat. So lifting weights can make you gain weight to an extent. BUT you will look better and be stronger and healthier…. etc…. So putting on muscle isnt a problem. Muscles eat up calories like nothing, So the more muscle you have, the more food you can eat without gaining fat. Muscle helps you lose fat. You cant exercise to “tone” specific parts of the body. Thats impossible. You just have to lower your overall body fat %.
Edit: lol, I thought slimming world was a gym for some reason. Anyway, if you dont have a gym at your disposal, it might be a little bit harder to lose weight. Keep eating healthy and it sounds like your doing quite a bit of exercise. Just keep at it. If you want, invest in a jumprope, its great cardio for like 10 bucks.
