What Hairstyle should I get? Help Please! ?

So I’m getting a new haircut and I’m not sure what to do. I want to get a more dramatic side swept bang but not sure if it should be long or short. Any suggestions? Also I really want to make my face look slimmer. I’m thinking of layers but not sure if I should get long or short ones. Thanks in advance for helping me! oh and should I get highlights? maybe a shade or two lighter than my natural hair?
